The hall sells by the hour
A venue with a diary, sold by the slot rather than the night, billed on the same folio as the rooms — because for a city hotel the wedding is often the larger revenue line.
A Delhi property lives on weddings and conferences. A hall is a room that sells by the hour: it has a diary per venue, a booking is a slot with a setup and a pack-down, and the charges — the hall, the covers, the equipment — land on a folio like everything else.
The diary
Every venue, every slot, with the event's name, the party, the guarantee and the status. A clash is refused; a hold expires; a confirmed event is a booking with a deposit.
Billing
The hall once, the covers by the guarantee or the attendance, whichever is more; the rooms for the party on the same folio or a linked one; the GST on each line at its own slab; the invoice on the hotel's letterhead.
