Every plan is priced on one form
Room-only, breakfast, half board and full board for every room type across a date range — set in one press, not twelve.
A hotel selling four plans on three room types used to press "Set the rate" twelve times to price one week. The form now takes a room type and a date range and prices every plan at once — single, double, triple, quad, the extra bed, the two child bands — in the shape the OTA extranets use, so a manager who has filled in Goibibo's rate sheet already knows this one.
What one press writes
- The base occupancy price for each plan.
- The extra adult and the two child rates, per plan.
- The season block the range falls in, created if it did not exist.
- A log entry with the person, the range and the numbers.
Where it is read
The chart's rate strip, the quote at the desk, the hotel's booking page, the CRS and the channel manager all read the same rows the form wrote. There is no second place a rate lives.
