Every change says who made it
The booking's own timeline: taken, changed, moved, checked in, billed — each with a person, a time and a machine.
Every booking carries its own story. Open the card and read, newest first, everything that happened to it: taken by whom from where, the rate agreed, the room given, the move to another room and why, the check-in, each posting, the invoice, the correction the administrator made a week later.
What is written
- The login, the role, the IP address and the machine, on every change.
- What the value was and what it became.
- The reason, where a reason was asked for — a discount, a block, an over-occupancy, a waiver.
Where else it is read
The operations log reads every log the system keeps on one page — bookings, rooms, mail, the channel manager, housekeeping, the books — filtered by hotel, by kind, by person, by day. Support answers a question by reading, not by asking the desk to remember.
