Group bookings
One booking, many rooms, a rooming list, and each room checked in and billed on its own or on the master.
A wedding party, a conference, a crew. A group is one booking with many rooms, taken in one step against the same plan and the same dates, with a rooming list that fills in as the names arrive.
What a group does
- Each room can be checked in separately, on its own day, by its own guest.
- Each room's charges can sit on its own bill or on the group master — the company pays the rooms, the guests pay their own dinners.
- The group can be cloned for the next weekend, dates shifted, names cleared.
- A room block holds inventory for a series or an agent's allotment without a name on it yet.
What the desk sees
The chart shows the group as bars that share a colour and a reference; the reservations list shows the group's rooms together; the arrivals list shows each room's guest with the rate and how they pay.
