Reports in the inbox
Any report on a schedule, in the hotel's name, to the people who read it — and an alert when a number crosses a line.
A report that must be opened is a report that is not read. The schedules screen sends any report from the catalogue to a list of addresses on a cadence — daily after the audit, weekly on Monday, monthly on the first — as an attachment and a summary in the body.
Alerts
A rule over a number: occupancy for next weekend under forty, outstanding over a lakh, a no-show rate above five per cent. When it crosses, a mail goes to the people on the rule, with the report attached.
Kept honest
A scheduled report that could not be produced says why in the mail rather than sending an empty page, and every send is on the mail log.
